Eyelid Surgery (Blepharoplasty)

Eyelid surgery repairs droopy eyelids and may involve removing excess skin and fat.  Patients who consider eyelid surgery have sagging and heavy eyelids which ages the eye and makes the patient look tired.  With eyelid surgery the upper and/or lower eyelids are restored to a more youthful appearance making the patient look more restful.

During consultation patient concerns are discussed in detail.  A full assessment is then conducted, with the resultant type of surgery tailored according to each patient’s individual requirements.

Back to Work: 1-2 weeks

Recovery
During recovery there will be swelling and discoloration for 1-3 weeks post surgery which is normal.
