Breast Cancer Surgery (Removal and Reconstruction)

Breast Reconstruction is required after a mastectomy and a consultation with Dr Ngwenya will outline the type of options suitable to your body type. Some patients prefer immediate reconstruction after breast cancer surgery or at a later stage.

During consultation patient concerns are discussed in detail after a full assessment.

Recovery

Mild swelling and discomfort post surgery is normal.
