Breast Augmentation (Boob Job)

The aim of Breast Augmentation is to enlarge and enhance the size and appearance of breasts. This is achieved by inserting an implant (often made of silicone) underneath the breast. A thorough consultation with Dr Ngwenya will involve, amongst other things, discussions about:

• The desired size of the breast and options available
• Type of Implant best suited for you based on measurements your chest
• Incision areas, and options of implant placement
• Individual breast structure and its impact on surgery
• Recovery expectations

Procedure

Operation:  2 hours with general anaesthetic
Hospital Stay: May require 1 night
Driving: 7 days
Back to Work: 2 – 3 weeks

Recovery

Mild to moderate swelling and discomfort is expected along with temporary bruising which is normal.
